The château itself is quite small but very well preserved and renovated. Each room is decorated and equipped as it was when Da Vinci lived there. The displays of his art and scientific discoveries are informative and well laid out. The gardens are great for a stroll around. The booking process with headout was easy and well priced.
We were captivated by the story of an extraordinary character. The château tells the story of the artist, his life, his works and his creations. The château's gardens are a playground for Leonardo da Vinci's imagination, and we're in awe of his work.

We loved walking around the house where Leonardo da Vinci once strolled. A magnificent garden and an interior with a whole section of his work. Thank you

Interesting tour, pleasant park to visit. It's a pity that the guided tour is extra, it would have been a plus for understanding the visit to the chateau. But we made do with the very well-done guidebook. In any case, a visit worth making.

Already accustomed to the visit, it was a lightning revisit with my granddaughters, we discovered the exhibition building created in 2021 which did not exist during previous visits. We missed the night-time presentations. A small downside: when buying tickets on the Le Clos website, there was no discount for students, which was a bit surprising. Otherwise, we were delighted with the visit to the chateau and park, given the heat.

Not too crowded, the park is big enough for people to be well spread out. We had lunch on site (restaurant next to the toilets), it was very good, very welcoming, just a little expensive. Quite interesting visit to the château and garden.

Fantastic experience. Really good price, which was better than any other we could find online or via the venue, plus skip the queue, which was brilliant as Clos Lucé was really busy. Thank you!
The garden design with works by Leonardo da Vinci is sensationally well done. Very varied, interesting and designed with great attention to detail. The panels next to the respective objects are also very informative and helpful. Always worth a visit.

it's a shame we weren't able to print the tickets. imagine if my smartphone broke down? as for the rest, it's OK. it's a good thing we had that wire cutter, because there was a lot of waiting at the ticket office.

Convenient for quick reservations and as queue-cutting tickets. The only problem is the pricing, as I paid for two tickets at the adult rate, whereas my daughter is a student and benefited from a preferential rate not shown on the site. And the difference in price is significant. So I'm disappointed to have paid so much when I could have had a discount on the spot.

It's really handy to have a mobile app so that you can check in at the reception desk and start your visit without waiting!

Great, no need to queue, a flash code on the cell phone and we were in, the Clos Lucé, a superb manor house where Leonardo da Vinci lived, a superb visit.

Pas de visite guidée proposée... pas de file spécifique pour nos billets après l'entrée...pas d'audio guide proposé !
Je ne vais pas dire ce que j'ai aimé, parce que j'ai été un peu déçu du processus.
It is a wonderful place, the gardens are spectacular and the museum is very curious.

Convenient to book all the tickets. Surprised Chambord needs to pay additional fees for the audio guide device but Amboise no fees required for the guide device. Would have been better if the guide device is included for all the tickets

Chambord: An exceptional château, and a very nice guide who challenged the simplistic view of the relais de chasse, which, when you read the facts, doesn't hold water. A great time. A must-see!

Impeccable service, no need to change tickets, barcode reading right at the entrance, no lines. Recommended.

Buying the tickets online was easy and saved me from standing on a long, slow moving, ticket line. I bought them right outside the ticket office. Chambord was very busy and I could not enjoy the chateau as much as in the past due to time constraints. Next time I will plan better.
We got in without any problems by skipping the queue at the ticket office. When purchasing you have to choose a date but the validity of the tickets is longer (it is written on the confirmation email, although sometimes it doesn't match what it says on the website). We had to change our plans and use some tickets on different days and had no problems.

The garden, the stairs once you understand what makes them so special. Sleeping in the parking lot with a camper for 12? You can arrive comfortably in the evening and start the next day right away. Perfect

What was the best was that we had "skip the line" status for our tix so we didn't have to stress over when we should get to the chateaux! Would do this again in a heartbeat!
Chateau de Chambord - what can you say that hasn't already been said? Great experience, history, architecture, good gardens, good food, good facilities.

Spectacular, the most beautiful castle I have ever seen. We toured the entire castle, including the 2 gardens and it took us more than 3 hours. An incredible experience.

Beautiful castle, wonderful garden. Only problems the difficulty of parking and its price, and the huge crowding.

The thread-cutting tickets are very practical and avoid queuing, especially for CHAMBORD, where there are a lot of people waiting in front of the ticket office. For free admission for children, it's now possible to go directly to the château entrance to collect their ticket, and then pick up the histopads at the same time. Despite the crowds, traffic flows smoothly through the château (even on August 15), and it's perfectly possible to take a picnic lunch in the grounds around the château.

Superb, splendid setting inside and out in glorious sunshine, with no waiting at reception. A must for any visit to the Loire castles.

Perfect ticket buying experience!I skipped the queue saving time for the visit!I had different expectations about the beauty of the castle!

Smooth traffic flow in the Chateau de Chambord despite the crowds. It was great! Not so good, however, for one of the bar-restaurants, where we waited for a good 20 minutes, even though the crowd was very moderate. We ended up leaving without being served.

Lovely castles, practical combined ticket except that for my son we had to make an additional ticket to Chenonceau as it said on the website that kids did not pay.

Practical and fast. You get to the castles with the ticket already on your smartphone Without several going to the ticket office. There is also a discount on the packages. Tip.

My opinion is only "acceptable" because it's the least I can do to ensure that my visit went smoothly. I would have been delighted if something extraordinary, something unexpected had happened, which was not the case. What's more, the price of the tickets was the same as those sold on site, and as the queue wasn't long, I wasn't able to make use of the "line cutter". What can you offer me financially so that I can say goodbye to a normal service? In a few days' time I'll be receiving another review for another visit, for which my assessment will be very negative. See you soon. Best regards. Michel Mercier
